About the Book

This book is written to appeal to children ages 4-7. It has six short, meaningful, stories, highlighting different relationships. It is designed to help children identify elements of a healthy relationship as well as engage children in positive conversation.

About the Author

Mary Kay Larson is the mother of four and grandmother of nine. She and her husband, Richard, have been serving in education related ministries for the past thirty years. Mary Kay had four siblings and her mother, Grandma VeVe, had six. Having such a large extended family provided Mary Kay with a myriad of delightful stories. Mary Kay's daughter, Wendi Larson, has a background in commercial art and is the mother of two children. For the past eleven years she has enjoyed working with elementary school children as a librarian. It was her passion to illustrate this book in memory of her Grandma VeVe.
