Hello Readers,
I just want each person who picks up this book to know that it is dedicated to the spirit to improve. Improve Consulting and Training Group, LLC has a very specific mission, and you are now a part of it. We want you to improve yourself and, consequently, improve our world. To do so, we decided to share a snapshot of inspiration with you, something to get you started.
When you open this book I want you to know that you are going on a journey. A journey within yourself, into the world, and beyond your circumstances. Each day is a new journey, with new challenges and a way to document triumphs. With this journey, I hope for you to unleash a superior amount of potential, and to soar into a brighter future.
The time is now, to begin. I want you to take the first step, because any day can be 'day one' of a triumphant journey. I share this gift with you as a gift from my heart, in hopes that you utilize it well. I have every confidence you will finish, but I hope you will continue a movement to improve long after day 366...

About the Author
A Note From Improve’s Senior Managing Partner, Dr. Ellen Burts-Cooper.
This book started out as a project for Taylor Sykes-Green, a 2011 Intern for Improve Consulting and Training Group, in Cleveland, OH. Taylor is a high school student with an enormous amount of talent and even greater potential. Taylor loves to write, so I asked her to create a motivational tip for each day of the year, for the Improve team. After hearing Taylor’s voice through these inspirational writings of wisdom, I knew that others would be blessed to be exposed to such truths. I decided to have them published and will use a portion of the profit to support Taylor’s educational pursuits.
Taylor is a wonderful example, of Improve Consulting and Training Group’s theme, of someone “exceeding their potential.” She exemplifies strong moral character, compassion for others and the drive required to sustain long term success. In the four years I have worked with Taylor and watched her grow, she has evolved into the epitome of what true leadership transformation is all about. By the way, did I mention she is a high school student? The wisdom, truth and substance in her writings reach far beyond the academic walls of a high school and provide guidance for even the most polished adults.
