I dedicate this book to the young men and woman who are struggling with LGBT identity and for those that have left us before their time. What is a dream and when do we know that it has come true. In my past books I have written about the obstacles in life that bring us pain and grief. And I had spoken on how grief is Gods way of testing us to see how much we can handle and why he puts us through the striving moments in life to strengthen us. It gives me great pleasure to now speak and write about the strengths and the happy times of life. I also am writing this book to educate society and motivate my readers to teach them how to overcome their minority status or imperfections. For the young readers I try to convey a message on the passage of life and when and how we meet life’s assimilation. Recently the world has been touched by the ignorance of society especially the younger crowd that is searching their identity and sexual orientation. My message to those who feel that they are alone, I tell you that it only gets better with age like a fine wine or a good cheese. Be yourself and be proud of who you are and don’t hide your true colors. We the world, stand stronger in groups and never stand alone. Recently I have been blessed with several new friends who have motivated me to continue to follow my dreams. My inspirational message to my readers is for you to follow your dreams and do not lock them up in your hope chest. We are given one life and only one. Life is all about making decisions and taking chances, so I tell you “shoot for the stars, the sky is the limit”. For the folks that have a hard time understanding our choice of life style, please read this book and understand your loved ones. We are who we are and we will never change. Being gay is not an illness, there is no cure, and it’s a birth given sexual orientation.

We once lived in an era that turned back the moments in time when the heterosexual was the dominant ruler and controller of society. Now as we fast forward into the millennium a new denomination holds the destiny to the new world as we know it today. After nearly seventeen years of being partnered we have become married as husband and husband. Being the first husband and husband to adopt as father and father in New York State has made us the poster child for generations to come. Let us tell you how to adopt locally without money through the raffs of the Child Welfare System. Let’s journey down our memory lane tell you how Daddy and Daddy have five beautiful children who have all had our DREAMS COME TRUE, now yet yours. The Child Welfare system provides many free services and incentives for adoption and foster care that also focus’ on single parent adoptions as well as husband and wife adoptions. This book is dedicated for people in need of family’s not people in need of money. Remember it takes a Village to raise a child.
About the Author
Gregory A. Miller has been a freelance journalist and writer for over twenty years. Mr. Miller has worked as the co-editor for the Circle Times and has been accredited with numerous published articles on child welfare and human rights issues. Mr. Miller holds three degrees and is a retired Executive Officer From the New York City Police Department. Currently Mr. Miller is married in a same sex marriage with his husband and they are the proud parents of five adopted children. Mr. Miller is a pioneer who has changed the Federal Civil Rights movement under Title 7 and is the first gay couple to adopt in the State of New York as Father and Father. Mr. Miller has released American Apple Pie Book of Essays along with Heaven Keeps Knocking. For 2012 Mr. Miller is releasing his new book titled How Two Dads Adopted Five Kids. The book will walk you through the Foster Care and Adoption process and teach you how to make Dreams Come True. The Foster Care and Adoption process is not just for LGBT Family's, but single parents and Husband and Wifes as well.
