Tippy Meets the Easter Bunny!

About the Book

Tippy is a little mouse that lives in the Baxter’s home. She has been listening for days about the Easter Bunny who is coming to visit and will be bringing lots of goodies. The excitement is almost unbearable. Finally, the day arrives and the Easter Bunny comes to visit. Tippy explodes with joy at the sight of him and in her attempt to meet him, she causes some major problems. But, with patience and a little magic, she and Peter Cottontail work together. They are able to fix everything and soon Easter is saved!

About the Author

I have been writing short stories and poems since I was 10 years old. Writing has always been a way for me to express and sometimes a way to release my emotions. I love to express my feelings in words and have the ability to bring the reader into my world. I took Creative Writing in College so I could improve my writing abilities and start publishing my works. I have had several poems published; one with the National Poets Society, and in 2010 my first Children's book was published as well. I was the only girl out of six boys and was also the youngest, needless to say I learn alot, because I picked up many different traits from each of my brothers; but beleive me I had to fight my way into their good graces. Having their younger sister hanging around was not cool, so I had to learn to hold my own. All of my brothers were born in Baltimore Maryland, then my parents moved to Salem, Virginia in 1962 and a little over a year later they had me. Mom always said it was the clean Salem air that finally brought her a daughter. I have an eighteen year old son who is attending Roanoke College, majoring in Business. He also loves to write and draw. I guess he takes after his mother. He also likes rebuilding cars with his father who is a car guru, along with being an amazing machinic, maintenance and handy man. He can work on or fix anything. He is also a wonderful, supportive husband. I am so very thankful for my loving family they are my foundation.
