About the Author

Billie Vineyard is an avid reader of mysteries, suspense and romance novels. Over seventeen years, she was involved and worked closely with the local law enforcement officers of the county, city and state. She saw the challenge a woman might have if she chose a career in that field,especially, if she was single and had children. Billie has a lot of respect for the women, (and men), who are in law enforcement today. In addition to this, Billie is married to a 30-year, veteran officer. She and her husband live in a rural area of Central Texas, in a home they built for themselves. Since retirement, she spends a lot of time at the computer, writing. Her hobbies are reading, writing and various other tun things. At times, she wonders how she ever had time to work a 40-hour week job.
