“I was right where you were when I found you, in Mr. Mason’s Museum. I must have fallen to sleep, and I had some type of dream. In the dream I was in a town that was similar to Freedom, the people wanted to learn of the God they had lost. They were asking for volunteers to go on a journey to seek God. My friend and I volunteered, but there was one other man as well and that man was you. My friend Thomas who to this day has not talked to me because of the church issue in Freedom. But in that dream we were still friends. As we traveled we found more and more people in search of God. However, there was a commotion in the front of the large group of travelers. We fought our way through the people to find this man with a story of God. He told us and all that would listen that there was still a long journey ahead of us. That he had already seen God and could tell us all about what God wanted of us. He had a book that he had written with all the information that we would need to know God and he was willing to share it with us. He said there was no need to travel any further to see God. As he began handing out his books from box after box, I Remember you taking notice that the boxes had initials that read WLP. I listened as you asked him what the initials WLP were for. The man said the initials were from the organization he belong to, and that the WLP would always be with us. I did not know what he meant by that, but I you were against it, and you and the man almost came to blows. I sided with you and we began asking everyone including my friend to continue on, that we did not know this man at all. I begged Thomas to keep moving, but the man put fear into their hearts with stories of devils and demons. And said that God’s wrath would befall us if we did not listen to him and his word. We said no, but my friend and damn near all of the others that I had been traveling with us had became too fearful of the things that this man had spooking of and followed him. The few of us that were left traveled on and got an audience with God, and I learned of our self, of our past, and of our future that we could have. But when we returned to the town, the people had been taught by Thomas and those who followed the man of his story of God and the people became fearful of us and of the answers that God had given us. The future that God showed us was no more, I could no longer see my past as clearly, nor could I see myself as I knew. Helen told me that I had to come to God through the words that were taught to them by the man. I pleaded with her and explained that I had spoken to God as we planned, but I could no longer reach her. I sought out my friend to ask him to help me get our people to listen, to hear about the things God intended for us. But my friend was no longer my friend his mind was corrupt with the power the man had given him over our people, he said it was to late that we had signed a contract to believe in the things that the man had taught us. I asked to see this contract, in his shame he reluctantly showed me the contract. The contract stipulated that we would always view God through the eyes of this man and his people. That we would measure ourselves in their shadows and that we would always look to them for answers. That we would always have doubt when it came to listening to ourselves. It further stated that we would even measure the beauty of our women and children on the bases of their resemblance of them. It said that no matter what anyone said we would be blind to the truth. And it was that dream that help me see that we had made the right decision here in Freedom.”
