About the Author

Having been an avid Science Fiction reader for most of his life, Darrell Fletcher decided to try his hand at the other side of the Literary Universe. His favorite author is Robert Heinlein but running a close second are Issac Asimov, Arthur C. Clark, Larry Niven, Roger Zelazny, John W Campbell and EE “Doc” Smith. The third place list is too long to go into but notably includes L. Neil Smith and Christopher Stasheff. After graduating High School and beginning College, he was lucky enough to win the Government lottery (a.k.a. the Draft). This turn of events actually worked out for the better. He enlisted in the Air Force, became an Avionics Repairman and got to spend a years paid ‘vacation’ in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He has worked in Engineering in the Aerospace and Defense industries, and is currently enjoying retirement. Darrell resides in California.
