A Wibble Named Wally

In the end, the wibblefolk learned

That the best leadership is that which is earned.

That differences make us all special…not strange,

How boring we’d be if we all were the same!

And if you are different don’t cower and hide,

Stand right up straight and shout it with pride!

If they try to break you, then you take a stand.

People will fear what they don’t understand.

And you’ll find, being kind again and again

That it all seems to come back around in the end.

You go forth in life with zest and passion

And make sure you show your fair share of compassion.

For everyone else is different too

And they could be having it harder than you.

And when you don’t know if you’re going or staying,

You pick yourself up and get up and awaying.

Because only you can control what you do

When you get in a rut and you need a boost.

Those times when you’re desperate and alone;

There’s a mountain ahead and you can’t go home.

I know that you aren’t any wobbley-woo

Who will give up and quit – No… you’ll know what to do!

Just like Wally the wibble your colors will shine;

There’s no way that you can get left behind!

And if you fall down just keep plugging away;

You’ll reach the top of that ladder someday!

And if you believe that you will succeed

You will always be a success, indeed!
