I've Tried, and Tried, (Between Darkness and Light) Who does not yearn for relief from the problems that face mankind? How often do our longings go unfulfilled! We dream of Peace, but we are plagued by War. We respect the Law and rules, but we live in a rising tide of murder, robbery, rape, and deceit. We want to trust our neighbors, but we lock our doors for protection. We love our children and try to instill values in them, but we watch, too often helplessly as they succumb to influences of their peers.(or gun-down thru no account of their own).>We live in a house, which is constantly being eaten by termites.) Job, stated (that man's short life is glutted with agitation.) (Job14:1). In a world of Darkness, it is where the hidden things of evil have freedom to thrive. Pastor, Frank Thomas). In a sermon on 12/13/2013, he quoted this message. When darkness comes Satan, almost is convinced that you will do anything, most of the time. When I was in darkness he said " there was some other person in the room. Darkness is the absence of light. It is used to harbor and deceive the importance of sin and evil. Darkness can't penetrate light. Light dispels darkness. Mankind likes darkness, they hate it because the light will expose them. People of evil, do evil in the dark and darkness destroys our fellowship with God. God is absent in your life, when you walking in the dark. God is light, and the nature of light is to see, it reveals sight, mind, and spirit. God reveals and expose all sin and evil. I am a imitator, a reflection of/or a walk in the light, light expose sin, by confessions, repenting and reading scriptures, and praying, it's impossible to have a relationship with God, without fellowship. "(quote, unquote, Frank Thomas)". We in the light are vulnerable, open-minded, honest,. Light is pure and truth. Where are you? Are you in the light? I am a person of conviction, and my number is revealed by the Quality, Not Longevity, Of One's Life Is What Is Important.(MLK). . I came out of the darkness, after a visit with my life darkest sins. I share what my life in my darkest hour brought me to a Higher Being, The God of all Creation. Our values resides in what we give. I pray I give you comfort of knowing Darkness doesn't have to be long. It's hard to Fail, But it is worse to Never have Tried to Succeed. This is my story, and my life, I am sharing. If this is a fair world, Cheryl H. Harrington would have most likely not written this book. This book is a thrilling story about the struggles and hardships that she has been through in this cold, hard world. It goes from the ever so loving happiness of a family, to the deepest depths of addiction. About the Author
Starting in 1986, Cheryl H. Harrington has worked as a foster parent. Throughout the years, she has been a foster parent to at least 29 children, ranging from newborns to 16 years of age, that have been under her direct care. She is a mother of 3 biological children and has 3 adopted children and has 5 grandchildren. One of ten children, born in Farrell, Pa. and lived in High Point, North Carolina for 19 years, and then returning to Pa in which she lived there for 16 years. and moved back to the South. She now resides in Greensboro, NC. Cheryl is a proud grandmother, and foster grandmother of many of her now adult children and foster kids. Ms. Harrington has written her first book, which has taken her 10 years to achieve. May God be a blessing in your life.
