Deliverance from Young and Restless to Bold and Beautiful

Gotta Fight to the End I got into a fight today. Triple-teamed by Rejection, Envy and Anxiety…they wouldn’t go away. If you’re pissed off at dealing with the same ugly battle Just keep it pushin’ y’all…SKIDADDLE! I try to keep my sanity But, in the end, there’s only profanity. I try, though sometimes I fail. And just when I think it’s over, I get an email. It was from “them,” and they shake me without really trying My day was bright and satisfying, but the more I read, my self-esteem started dying. Rejection told me I have nothing to offer And for a second, I began to concur. His best friend, Envy, was next on the scene. I prayed, “Oh, God, of all the things, why does THIS happen to me? She has everything to offer that I’ll never possess,” I continue to beat myself up, saying, “Yeah, I’m a hot mess!” Oh, and yes, then there’s Anxiety…the last of the three, But what they don’t know is I’m about to reach out to the team called The Trinity. That’s the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And I know with Their presence, I’m in it to win it! Though I’m a Child of God, I do face confusion. Only in Jesus’ name can I shake this illusion. Faith tells me to hold steady and the bullies will fade But this is a constant battle I fight day after day. I fall on my knees and I fervently pray, For Satan’s use of my weaknesses to just go away. Prayer whispers, “Just use Me first.” I follow His orders, for had I not, my heart would burst. And Faith says, “Since you know what to do, I think it’s time for Me to come through.” The Father commands, “Before you even shed a tear, Know that My presence is oh, so near! To my Son, I gave the power to bring you peace. So just say the word, and they’ll ALL know they MUST cease. The Holy Spirit is here to comfort you.” Yes, whatever you’re facing; He’ll see you through! I have prayed for Mercy and Grace. It’s time for rejection, envy and anxiety to leave this place. I am beautiful and I am a survivor; though trials I must face And encouragement from my mom and dad help me run this race. I thank God for my parents and their words that empower And my ability to lean on them…no matter the hour To fight these abusers of my mind and train of thought I know my salvation comes with a cost. How much am I willing to sacrifice to be God’s Servant…a servant of all? Or perhaps I should ask how long I will wait to accept His call? I have to apply what the Word of God says is promised through my covenant. Because then, and only then, can I make it through life’s turmoil and torment. I am smart and I am wise Yet, I know that, of me, there are those who despise. I’ll let those who choose to hate continue to hate Knowing I’ll meet The Trinity at Heaven’s Gates. I’ll just walk in the strength that God’s giving me within Because I know in the end…I undeniably win!
