About the Book

Red Rock Hen is seemingly trapped in a bad situation. She has prayed for peace. Sad and discouraged she is suddenly empowered by her careful observation of a routine event. Now, she has and idea!

About the Author

Elizabeth Mary Aimé was first published in her hometown newspaper at the age of eight. The story, written as a third grade English assignment, brought to life the true account of her toddler brother's exploration that ended up breaking most of her mother's collection of knick-knacks. Imagine her mother's shock and humiliation when reading in the local paper her daughter's closing words: "That's why my mother always says, when you have kids, you don't have much of anything else!" There were no more publications for many years after that! Working her passion in her hometown's public library for more than seventeen years, Elizabeth continued to create. She authored several wonderful children's books and puppet plays. In 2005, these plays were discovered and performed by the very popular Susan Santner's THE PRAIRIE PUPPETEER DINNER THEATER. Then a CVA (cerebral vascular accident) in 2011 had Elizabeth witness a Divine "re-direction." Now retired from the Sun Prairie Public Library, "A Peaceful Home for Red Rock Hen" begins the first of many wonderful releases from the creative, thoughtful genius of Elizabeth Mary Aime'. Elizabeth is encouraged by her husband of fifty years, her six wonderful children and eleven precious grandchildren. Her mother, age 96, now recalls that candid third-grade story in good humor! Elizabeth is grateful to Victor Leo Aimé, her first-born, for illustrating so brilliantly "A Peaceful Home for Red Rock Hen." Enjoy!
