About the Book

This is a short story about the love between a young girl and her horse. I found the manuscript of the book in my deceased fathers file cabinet. I had wrote this story as a young lonely girl. A tough time for me as I had an unhappy family life. My little horse was my best friend and savior. My father had kept the manuscript for over 40 years. I know he was proud of it and it helped him to understand my love of this horse.

What do I need to qualify for to write a story? I write from my heart and from personal experience. No fancy words. You can read my story without a dictionary. This is a story about a young girl and her family pain. Her best friend is her horse. It is a true story. For over 40 years horses and animals have been very important in my life. Their love is unconditional. Something I never had growing up and still have a hard time finding to the present. I have lived in Northern Virginia all my life. I will stay here with my horses and small family forever. I hope to write more stories about my experiences with my horses .
