Preview from the HYPOCHONDRIAC MASOCHIST - section She started coming to me of tales of chasing down other daycare providers, with her car. This was out of the blue moon, telling me weird stories. I wasn't nor would I ever do anything wrong to anyone's child. So, I couldn't figure out if she was subliminally, sending me messages. She started acting crazier than a lab monkey. I would hear the door close behind her, after she picked her kids up and left. "Mommy, their car is still in front of our house." "Oh, maybe she's doing something." I said, although it's been ten minutes since she left. "I don't see their mom." "What! Let me go see what's going on out there." I walked towards the steps to the daycare door. She was standing up against the wall, holding onto the sign-in clipboard - rocking. I would quickly step back to see what the freak she was doing. She wouldn't say anything. She'd just leave, without signing out. I heard screaming outside of my house, one day after they left. "Mommy! mommy! something happened in front of the house! I think the daycare kids got hit by a car!" "All the daycare kids are gone." I looked out of the front window. Oh my greatness! It's my daycare kids mom, screaming at the top of her lungs. She's running around her car, that's in the middel of the street. I don't see anyone from my view. I grabbed a bat. I ran out of the other door. ' "What's wrong?!" I'm frantically looking around. Who's after her? I'm questioning in my head. "Help! Help me!" "What?!" I'm looking into the car. I see my daycare kids - her kids. They appear to be fine. The little girl is standing up in the car, watching her mother run. Her brother is sitting at the edge of the seat, doing the same. "I don't know how to help. Tell me what's wrong? I don't see anyone." "Oh my god! It's a bee in the car!" That went on for ten or fifteen minutes. I went in the house, after laughing from shock. Once we all did, neighbors also, she got in the car and drove off like nothing happened. It's after eleven in the evening. It's almost time for the daycare kids to leave. I hear tapping at the door. Then, I heard the shaking of the doorknob. I'm about to call the police. "Why didn't you open the door for me?" she asked while standing outside of my door . "I could''ve gotten killed." "Huh?" Suddenly, she started screaming for her life. She ran up into the house, knocking me up against the wall. I yanked her out of the way, so that, I could close and lock my doors. I was scared. "What, somebody out there? Someone's following you? What's wrong?" I asked while peeking through the curtains. "It's a dog across the street!"
