But there was no need for all the animals to come because now, Fairy was able to go where ever they were. She frolicked over them and danced around them. She went about dropping her jewels on all the animals who were in need. She dropped them on the deer to make him run faster and the rabbit to hop higher. She dropped her jewels on the sickly skunk that, by mistake, took a whiff of his own smell of defense. And he hadn’t been able to gather his senses since the accident. But, now, he danced around with all the other animals, in and out of all the flowers and throughout all the trees. Fox just stood and watched suspiciously.

“A Fairy Tale” is about a fairy who comes from a legendary lacoon as all of nature watches. As she goes about helping others with her treasures, she eventually struggles with her ultimate purpose in life. Then suddenly, she realizes it was within her all along.
About the Author
Shirley Hall has been a teacher in Louisville, Kentucky for over twenty years. The best part of her teaching career has been spent in first grade. She has enjoyed teaching writng to her students for many years. She began writing children's books after being "Inspired" during a reading conference. She has written several children's books and also writes adult christian literature. She recently published "Buggy Buggy" . She lives in Indiana with her husband and has three grown children.
