About the Author
Robert T. Laing was born in Norris Point, Newfoundland, Canada and immigrated to the United States of America in 1970. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. After working many years in the banking industry, he is currently employed, in project management, with a global financial services corporation. It was through the suggestion of Bob's two daughters, Stephanie and Tricia, that this cookbook was born. They wanted their father to commit all of their favourite recipes to writing and, by doing so, they would have a means to cook and enjoy the same dishes for years to come with future generations. What started out as a simple compilation of his daughters favourite recipes into a simple book has developed into The Complete Comfort Foods Cookbook – an Heirloom of Recipes and Photos.
