I am so honored for this opportunity, to write Elsie’s stories, We laughed together, shared a meal, and wiped away tears.

Her memories are vivid, with colors, names and places. She can even remember people’s faces!

Her faith was apparent from the start, and her gift of love comes from a joyous heart.

She has cried plenty of tears, beginning with the death of her mom at the age of nine.

Enduring heartache, not giving up hope, believing in goodness is who she is inside.

I heard her stories about Tom, and the Wyoming cold. A lifetime of memories of her children she told.

Her wisdom, compassion, and grace has taken hold.

About the Author

Antonia is a Colorado native with some detours to Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida. Encouragement from a fourth grade teacher to write a paragraph everyday, has brought years of creativity and discipline to her writing. Writing is a freedom of expression of our dreams, hopes, fears and hurts. Through this process a person can become a bronco fan, have a date with Clark Cable at Wendy’s, and eat as many of her favorite candy bars without anyone knowing! Our words keep us in touch with who we are inside; opinion’s of others are not necessary. These words become our experiences and we own them. What will you learn about yourself if you write one paragraph a day?
