About the Book

This is a magical book. It begins in the old junk yard that existed in Shropshire, England. An incredible place where the past is still present, where cars come alive at night and tell wonderful tales about their lives. The yard is guarded by a "wolf ", who actually lived, and who spent her life protecting children and guarding the junk yard. Here is the told true story of Billy, a young Jack Russel terrier, who is trapped in the maze of a badger sett, for three and a half days. Despite the efforts of the other dogs, and the firemen, Billy almost dies. You will meet an amazing man, who finds lost animals, by a 6th sense.

About the Author

Joe France was born in the magical county of Shropshire, England. His childhood was full of funny and often dangerous adventures. He has a great love for animals, children, family and the countryside and an amazing imagination. Since retiring from the military he has been writing these wonderful stories, which are being illustrated by his childhood friend, Sue Carter. His three Jack Russel terriers often appear in the stories .Look for many books from him, which will become "keepers".
