About the Author

I’ve always had a passion for writing books, with hopes of one day becoming a filmmak-er. Writing gives me peace of mind and helps me escape from everyday life. Writing also helps me develop a connection to my readers, sharing a part of my creative world as well as giving them a reason to laugh, smile, and cry just when they need it. Throughout my childhood growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, I always involved myself in things like acting and performing as a hip-hop, R&B artist. I enjoyed being able to see the satisfaction on people’s faces when I had done my all to put on a great performance. When writing, I can almost feel the bond between the reader and myself, which gives me a stronger desire to take them beyond the action of reading my books, to actually make them feel like they are a part of my stories.
