Rosie Bryant is a retiree who returned to Brunswick County, North Carolina in 2008 to care for her aging father. She began writing poetry in 2001 when rhyming words began to come into her mind. Her first poem, "At the funeral" frightened her so much she was sure news would be forthcoming that a family member had passed away. To learn more about writing and publishing, she attended a Christian Writers Conference in Hagerstown, Maryland, and has continued writing since.
Rosie enjoys working out at her local gym and encourages others to join her. She reads every day, whether it's a newspaper, book, or magazine. She believes that as long as we live there is always something new to be learned.
