About the Author
Virginia Raynor was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. As a victim of domestic violence, Virginia has suffered through the myriad facets involving this serious topic. She feels that enough exposure and assistance has not been given to this matter. It is her goal to reach out and touch the lives of women that are going through similar situations; to let them know that they are not alone. Virginia has attended group counseling sessions on domestic violence when she was a victim. In an effort to give back, she has volunteered at the House of Ruth. This survivor is now flourishing in life, physically free from the confines of domestic violence; and chosing this venue to free herself from the mental and emotional ties that are lined to domestic violence.
