About the Book

Roscoe’s initials give him his nickname, RAK. To his family he is known as a RAKster, one who automatically does random acts of kindness. His friend Andrew asks RAK what his own initials, AJH, could stand for. His answer is always just help, which would make him a RAKster. Andrew announces that he wants to be a PAKster. Roscoe argues that there is no such thing. But when they plan an act of kindness, Andrew gains some ground. RAK says they are both RAKsters. Andrew says they are both PAKsters. Read Roscoe the RAKster Is Also a PAKster to see how they resolved their differences.

About the Author

Janice E. Clark is a retired elementary school teacher. She taught in grades two, three, and five in Brockton, Massachusetts during her thirty-one years of service. Retirement has not interrupted Clark’s desire to help children learn life skills. Her first book, Roscoe Is a RAKster, was published in 2010. It promotes random acts of kindness within the family structure. She believes that when children are raised with praise, and there is family interaction, bullying is not likely to manifest. Roscoe the RAKster Is Also a PAKster takes random acts of kindness out into the community in the hands of children with an adult support system.
