About the Author

Rachel Robinson currently ranches in West Texas with her husband Shorty. They have two grown children that they raised on ranches in Montana. Both Rachel and Shorty, and their children, were riding long before they started school. Rachel started following Jesus at age 21 but didn’t get serious about it until she was 35. Rachel has very eclectic interests and spends her time not only ranching and studying the Bible, but also scuba diving, ministering in China, studying Greek and Chinese, and riding racing bicycles. She has worked as a cowboy, an outfitter, a yard back, an English teacher, a science teacher, a riding teacher, a dive master, a cook, a driver, a gardener, a home health worker, a project coordinator, and a carpenter. She is currently writing not only the sequel to this book but also her autobiography.
