About the Book

Megan Johnson or also known as Maggie Matthews, at first glance she appears normal, from a normal, perfect family and neighborhood, but only the closes to her know the real truth. Ms. Megan Johnson is the prey, being stalked by deadly predators who seek revenge agaisnt her family and Megan, herself. Who knew, testifying and witnessing an act of murder could ruin one's life. Running away time after time seems to be the Megan's only hope of survival agaisnt the predators. It seems nowhere is safe not even for her anymore. Being caught and taken away was the last thing on Megan's mind. Nobody is able to save her it seems, not even herself can do the impossible. Murder, mystery, and sadistically twisted shadows haunt page after page, lurking deep within the book spilling blood ready to capture the reader's heart.

About the Author

I believe I am qualified to write and have this book published because as a student, growing up I discovered my passion for writing while in the seventh and eighth grade year of middle school. I had numerous poems, memoirs, and songs published in books for young writers. I started writing the plot for my first novel, "His Death Sentence" back in seventh grade but I quit writing because I couldn't find the time between playing on two or three softball teams every year and working for my parents as a farmhand on their farm and trying to have a social life at that age. Once I hit my sophmore year of high school, current on going health problems came into play, affecting my softball career. I knew deep down that something had to give in my life, so I had to make a big, but hard decision. I chose to quit softball but decided to continue voluteering and working for the local veterinarian along with continuing to work for my parents. I picked writing back up that same year which helped fill that empty void in my life. I rediscovered my passion for writing and decided to push my idea of publishing my novel further along. Granted I was only sixteen at the time but I am now eighteen publishing my first novel. I finally achieved one of my many long-term goals in life. Some people look at me weird or as if they don't believe me when I tell them that I'm only eighteen and a new author, but to me in my opinion I have achieved something great that other students my age wouldn't ever dream of possibly of ever doing. A dream I thought I would never achieve or see myself pursuing but this is what I love doing, I love writing. I currently live with my boyfriend on my parent's two hundred acre farm in Garfield, Kentucky and transferring universities in the spring because I have changed my major and MSU doesn't offer what area I am wanting to pursue.
