Oscar's Odyssey

About the Book

Oscar is an oyster in the Atlantic Ocean. He is taken from his mom and dad by a man with a straw hat. Oscar is on a journey to get home. He meets friends and enemies who send him in different directions to get home. Oscar knows if he sticks with the man in the straw hat he will return home soon. He travels to many countries during his Odyssey.

About the Author

Nicole Jennings attributes her love of children books to her teachers always reading many different kinds of books during her childhood. Nicole is a second grade teacher herself and loves reading to her class. “When students eyes light up and yell out in excitement while listening to a story it fills my heart with great joy,” stated Nicole. Nicole hopes to see the world one day and acheives this goal now through books by writing stories about different countries.
