About the Author

Reverend Julie Keene has served several Unity ministries since her ordination in 1982: Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Tallahassee and Gainesville Florida; Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah, and until October 2009, Cincinnati, Ohio. While a ministerial student she served as leader in Columbia, Missouri when they were first forming a group. Julie lived and worked at the Holo Center in Idaho and traveled extensively presenting workshops with co-leader, psychologist Ione Jenson. They presented workshops to over 100 Unity and Religious Science groups all around the United States, including Hawaii. They also served a short period at Unity in Bermuda. Before entering the ministry, Julie taught Composition and Literature at Ferris State University in Michigan. She gave up tenure as an Assistant Professor to attend Unity Ministerial School in 1980. Julie’s goal is to be truly helpful and totally loving and compassionate as she speaks and facilitates workshops. She is dedicated to helping people live an expansive spiritually focused life. Because she has moved through challenges and obstacles in her own life, she is well equipped to help others on their journey to wholeness. Julie currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida where she helps out at Unity of Tallahassee by doing the early 9:30 Sunday morning service and facilitates A Course in Miracles.
