This nonfiction story is based on the authors own experiences with different animals that were rescued and rehabilitated. After the passing of her very old cat of 23 years and some other cats that had to be put to sleep for health reasons, the author said to her husband: "Please, no more cats." Shortly after moving into their new home, a cat showed up in their woodpile. The story unfolds with the cat's kitten developing an eye infection. The kitten had to be taken to the doctor or it could have lost its sight. The purr-fect story for any little one. This is an endearing tale on how to recognize that animals need respect and love. One dollar from the sale of each book will be donated to the food pantry at the Johnson County Humane Society, Franklin, Indiana.

About the Author
The journey and commitment to animals started 36 years ago with the rescue of a mistreated Golden Retriever. Since that time she has opened their home to many weary cats and dogs. Her stories are true adventures of some of these animals. She and her husband have lived in Greenwood, Indiana for 30 years.
