About the Author

I grew up in Southwick, Massachusetts with two brothers and two sisters. When vacationing we traveled with our parents all over New England visiting historical sights and landmarks. We visited the beaches along the east coast while dining in various restaurants. My fondest memories as a child were the weeks we spent camping, fishing, and boating. Although Lake George, New York was great, the Otis Reservoir (located in the Berkshires) was my passion. Southwick is a smaller town, which allowed us as children to explore and enjoy the outdoors. At a very young age I purchased a paper route, then others, keeping myself very busy. I realized the papers I delivered brought news and enjoyment to my customers which prompted me in creating my own magazine that contained short stories and puzzles. Hand drawing and printing these magazines was a very slow process only making four copies and three volumes. It took 35 years to remember my passion for creating, drawing and writing. I met an old friend who inspired me to do so. At the age of 48, I’m finally publishing my first book with an original story and illustrations I hope brings joy to all who see.
