Solid geometry is the branch of mathematics which examines the size and shape of a three-dimensional space, the kind of space we live in and store things inside. An example of such a space would be a toy box where toys are stored, or a house were people live, or a refrigerate where we keep our food. Geometry is called three-dimensional, or 3D, because the shapes of solid objects have multiple dimensions and measurements.
