Mommies and Daddies are Nurses is a book written for 3-7 year olds to introduce them to the wonderful world of nursing. Every day millions of parents leave their young children to work in this incredible nursing profession where they have the ability to heal and change lives. Many times our children have no concept of what we do when we leave them to go to work. It is time to expose our children at a young age to the exciting world of nursing!

About the Author

Eileen Wasson RN has been a nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 24 years, the past 14 of which have been in the Trauma Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Eileen recently obtained her masters’ degree in nursing education at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa. She is the mother of Emily, 7 years old who was the original inspiration for the book. Angela Strausser RN has been a registered nurse for 22 years. Most of her career has been devoted to the Trauma Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa. She is the proud mother of 2 children, Alexandria 13 and Shane 10, who are the greatest gifts in her life. Roey Ebert is the proud mother of 6 kids. She runs a popular blog on Word Press entitled “Mom Perks”. She enjoys every free minute she finds to paint and illustrate. Her first two picture books that she wrote and illustrated “Put It Back, Jack” and “Vivien’s Beach Dreams” are due out soon through Guardian Angel Publishing.
