When Rob was nine, he never read books. Actually, he never, EVER, read ANYTHING! Not text books in school, not signs on the streets, not even the ingredients on his cereal box. His mom and dad always said, “JUST READ, ROB!” Rob simply refused. Full of hope, Rob’s parents bought him mystery books, cookbooks, comic books, magazines, read-along books, and even movies that had subtitles. Anything that they brought home for Rob to read would be found days later, stuffed in the trashcan!

Kailey Robertson lives in Sarnia, Ontario with her family and two cats. She is 13 years old and author of Jessica's Jazzberries. Kailey enjoys reading, writing, and drawing. She also enjoys participating in her local youth theatre group, photography, and cooking.
