I am not punishing you, Jessy; I just don't feel comfortable about the trip, and for that reason I am not going to allow you to go." "But you are punishing me, and there is no reason for you to feel uncomfortable." "I can't explain why I feel this way, but I do believe that when I feel this way without a reason, there really is a reason, and that it is God causing me to feel uneasy. About the Book
This is the third book in the “Jessy Learns” series, the first two being titled “Jessy Learns To Trust” and “Jessy Learns About Commitment”. Each book teaches Christian values and strengthens faith in simple, everyday stories, with which most children can relate. Also, the series conveys that the more we strive to do God’s will, the more blessings He bestows upon us.
About the Author
Mary Lou and her husband Russ live on a farm in central Indiana, in the same area where she grew up. She has enjoyed writing her entire lifetime, but only recently, after retiring from a career spent as a legal secretary and court reporter, and also after raising two daughters, and welcoming eight grandchildren into the world, has she started publishing. She finds it gratifying, while doing something she so thoroughly enjoys, to in this way share her faith with others, especially with young people.
Not only has Mary Lou found retirement as busy as working fulltime, but she also finds that the more she writes, the more she wants to say. In addition to the "Jessy Learns" series, she is currently working on a fantasy for teenagers, "Rewind To The Beginning", and another book about her own life titled "Uniquely Blessed".
