Jasmine and the Missing Hat

Jasmine looked high, really high….on top of her dresser. She looked low, really low.....underneath her bed. She looked under the tea table….and in the closet. She looked under the covers on her bed….and in all her drawers. Finally, she checked her toy box. "Where can that hat be?" she wondered out loud. "I know! Charles has it! He came and got it while I was clearing the table! He's always taking my stuff for buried treasure. He'd better not have my wonderful hat in that dirt!" she growled and stomped down the stairs and to the front door.
