This journey of life that God has blessed me with has been a true adventure! Walking through daily life desiring to know more about my Savior has been a time of learning and excitement. When you ask God to mold you and shape you, he shows up in a big way. Over the last several years, God has taken me through many different paths that have forever shaped the future in front of me. I began to journal those moments so I would never forget what he showed me and the exact moment he showed them to me. These are now forever embedded in my very soul and I share them with you for encouragement. God is the only source of true joy! My desire is to know him more through his Word. I am no scholar or great theologian. I am just a simple “Jesus Girl” who is learning and growing in him through this beautiful life he has placed before me. Psalm 25:4-5 "Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

About the Book
I'm amazed at how my Savior can take any and every circumstance around me to show me more about him. From drinking a cup of coffee to riding down a country road, each moment of life is a glorious opportunity to learn more about the heart of my Savior. These are precious moments for me to grow more and more in love with him! My prayer has always been that this journey of life would continually bring honor and glory to him. By using every opportunity, my mistakes, my successes, and my day-to-day adventures, he teaches me how to use them for his glory. This life he blessed me with is all about him and I want the world to see Jesus in me. He is Life and so worth living for! So, these are my thoughts, my heart cries, and my lessons from his glorious Word. These are the teachable moments from my Savior!

Allison Jordan is the Assistant Director of her church weekday program and loves to help people live healthier lives through her own journey with weight loss. She is just a simple "Jesus Girl" who desires to grow deeper in her relationship with her Lord and encourages others along the way to live the abundant life God intended for them. Allison is a devoted wife to Matt, the mother of three awesome children, and lives in North Carolina.
