The first book of this series, "The Adventures of Celtic," told of how the family dog became more than just an ordinary pet. The second in the series, "The Adventures of Celtic: Road Trip," tells of how the mischievious Welsh Terrier rounds up the neighborhood friends and plans a road trip to Grandma's. See how Celtic uses the talents of the Hidden Lake Hounds to organize the great escape, escape from the Dog Catcher, avoid an aligator, take a dip in the lake and eventually leave everyone speechless when they all survive and arrive at Grandma's. The third book, which will be out in 2012, is about Celtic's relationship with his favorite 10-year-old boy, Tyler, and the fourth is about how Celtic meets his brother and sister in a long journey home from the Dog Pound. This eventual 5-part series is sure to make elementary children fall in love with the blue-eyed puppy.

About the Book
The Hidden Lake Hounds have become good friends since Celtic moved into the neighborhood a couple years ago. But Celtic believes they need to add a little spice to their daily routine -- a road trip to Grandma's. The dogs talk about the idea, meet at the Dog Park to finalize their escape plans and then go on a journey that will lead through busy intersections, alligator ponds, a meeting with a Dragon and a run-in with the Dog Catcher. The ending will leave moms, dads and kids begging for more...which will come in the third part of this entertaing five-part series.
About the Author
Todd Hveem has been a writer for the past 28 years. He has won numerous newspaper and magazine writing awards. His life-long dream has been to write books. He has always loved to put words in animals' mouths as they perform some of the funniest acts. When the family decided to get a puppy on July 4, 2009, Hveem knew this was his chance to tell "Celtic's story" and fulfill his dream.
