Women are lost and alone more often than not. The sad part is that they really don’t realize the loneliness. We are mothers, wives, professionals, friends and lovers, and yet, we are still alone. We are like the children of Egypt wondering around in the wilderness. We are unaware of our priorities and unknowledgeable about directions for our lives. Thus we begin to sink in the deep waters of everyday life. I sank.

I Think I Can, I Thought I Could, I Did and I Will... My Story tells the story of one lady's struggle to make the best out of a series of bad personal choices. The Author provides her readers with real life experiences that women across America are facing, yet for various reasons are not discussed.
About the Author
Katrina L. Roper-Smith is a native of Georgiana, Alabama. After having her first child at the age of 16 and dropping out of high school, she did not give in to the challenges of life. At the age of 27, Katrina completed her BS Degree from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. She continued her education earning a Master's Degree from the University of Alabama, an Educational Specialist Degree from Jacksonville State University and has complete all course work towards a Doctoral Degree from the University of Alabama. Katrina has been an educator for the past 18 years. Her experiences in the field are varied. However, she has a passion for the underprivledged child and is deeply concerned about the social injustices that affect the students on campuses across America. Katrina resides in Montgomery, Alabama and currently serves as a Minister and Christian Education Director in her church.
