The Frog Princess That Lived in the Black Forest in Germany

About the Book

This is a tale told to young Hans by his Uncle Fritz. It involves Fritz as a young lad and his grandfather. His grandfather told Fritz told he must never, never tell anyone about the frogs that lived in the forest and he would take him and show him the frogs. A wicked old woman had put a curse on the Princess and her court and turned them into frogs. Young Fritz worked very hard to try to free the frogs from the curse. When things he tried didn’t work he didn’t give up.

About the Author

I always enjoyed the fairy tales with settings in the Black Forest in Germany. While visiting in Germany I visited in Germany I visited the Black Forest. My thoughts went back to the tales that I read during my childhood. I loved those stories. Upon leaving and passing the forests I thought “I can write a fairy tale about these forests. When I arrived home I sat down to write the story and it came to me freely.
