About the Book

About the Author

As a parent of 4 young children especially two boys at school age and two young girls, the mother naturally play's a crucial role in their up bringing and provides all kinds of support required at home and outside in every capacity. I have observed every day after school when the kids come home, the mother repeats the same routine issues again and again about being "Responsible" at times especcially whislt at home and outside. As parents we have come to accept that the notion if the kids are responsible at home they will equally act responsible at school and elsewhere, this clearly demonstrates the importance and role of parents at home to so that they can calcate and re-inforce this message of "responsibilyt" at every opportunity as they grow and develop. One evening after the kids went to bed early, I decided to write down in paper the same routine things that their mum have asking them to do on a daily basis, especially from the moment they wake up in the morning and the various activities they have to undertake before and after school. I worked at the draft for this book couple of months and I gave it the titled as " Mamma I am Responsible" My main aim was to see if I could record every daily activity issues that the mum is trying to raise and deal with, and the ultimate aim was to try and see if I could support my kids in a small way and reinforce the message that the mother was trying hard to convey to the kids. The other objective was to come up with a guide book that relates to normal daily activities that every parents have to encounter whilst rasising their kids in a responsible manner. As a father I have responsible and duty to support the mother and ensure we oth convey the same message in a postive way as well as empower children to do practical things by themselves and encourage them to have confidence in thier judgement and actions " Teach Your Child how To Think of Their Actions Responsibly". Both myself, wife and Nafisa whom I have acknowledged in the book contributed enormously in the draft manuscript of this book and to ensure that it has to be published somehow somewhere! My wife equally had a great deal of input as she has worked as support teacher in a secondary school in the last ten years.
