About the Book

Filled with words of love, adoration, and of the pain of passion, I reflect my sentiments toward my life journey. The greatness that I see in God and the splendors I see in all His creation are made manifest through words from my heart. At times, when I was spiritually exhausted, the Lord Himself inspired me and gave me words of comfort which I was compelled to record on paper. And when my flesh began to get the best of me, I was constrained to write in order to release that which was burning inside. Living the life in which God has placed me has in some instances been a struggle. On other occasions, living has felt like an on going achievement. But to make every moment worth while, God gave me a perfect means of expression; poetry.

About the Author

From the depths of a heart once filled with apathy arose emotions through a writhing soul that had become addicted. But it was only out of deliverance from that addiction that a poet was born. From the moment that I was reborn through my acceptance of Jesus Christ, I was driven to write that which was burning inside. If only to release the tensions of desire or to capture a new found love for God, I began to set free that which was bound in me through poetry.

Over the years my life's journey has led me to enhance my relationship with God. The call of ministry and the charge of the Gospel had begun to press upon my life. To pursue this call I am now attending a biblical studies program at In God We Trust School of Ministry in Virginia. Before long I hope to be licensed in ministry.

While I'm working towards finding my place of service to the Lord I work full time as a Health Record and Information Technician for a hospital in Hampton Roads, Virginia. I enjoy this life along with my wife Tabitha, who is also engaged in biblical studies, and my two year old daughter Khiyah.
