About the Author

Marielly Ramos has been an aspiring writer since the tender age of ten. She has found writing to be an excellent source for communicating positive thoughts to others. This is the first book that she has written, and entered it into a book writing contest. The Ezra Jack Keats book writing award was given to her on April 1989 for this particular story. The purpose of this publication is to inspire young children to maintain their interests in writing. Publishing a book written by a ten year old should spark up some life into a young ones dream. Marielly is currently residing in Rockland County and is a proud mother of three beautiful children.
