A Retaliatory Measure

There was a knock at the top of the stairs while Marcus was talking. Brenda heard the knocking and wondered who it was. The knocking ceased when Justin, also heard the noise and it never continued. During the pleas of Marcus, there were shadows walking around the outside of the house behind Justin, but in plain sight of Marcus.
