About the Book
The United States of America is at a tipping point. Like the teeter-totter I played on as a child, our beloved country is about to go from a godly country to an ungodly one.
If we do not act now, the liberties that we Christians have enjoyed since the birth of our nation are at risk of being eliminated. If we do not fight in unity, we will lose our country to secularists who believe Christianity is for the weak.
We need warriors, Christian warriors to take to the battlefield and defeat the enemy.
BUT HOW DOES ONE BECOME A WARRIOR FOR CHRIST?
The samurai are arguably the greatest warriors ever. Imagine incorporating their dedication and self-sacrifice into your Christian walk; what a great Warrior for Christ you could become!
It will not be easy, and you will be tested, but God is with you, as he was with Joshua: “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” JOSHUA 1:9
IT’S TIME TO PREPARE FOR BATTLE.
About the Author
Charles has been a Christian for over 30 years and a black belt in karate for 29 years.
However, for many of those years, he was not living fully for Christ. His walk at times was lukewarm at best. From an early age he always knew one thing in his heart; he was born to be a warrior. Not knowing what that really meant, Charles spent many years struggling to understand how his love for God and his love for karate could live in harmony. Spiritually, karate has its roots in Buddhism, and being a Christian, the two seemed to be like oil and water.
Charles' fascination for the Samurai added to the struggle. Arguably the greatest warriors of all time, Charles needed to understand their warrior way of life. Surprisingly, their way of life, or code, had many of the same attributes that Christ taught. The parallel paths in Charles' life soon came together to form one complete single path. The path fully dedicated to serving the our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Charles was born in and currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife Lupe. They have seven children and seven grandchildren between them. They attend Family Worship Center in Albuquerque.
