“Clay, I can not do this”. She spoke to him softly. She was hoping he would say the same thing. “Do what? Wait, she is coming.” Saige sat politely as the waitress took the order. “Two hot, cappuccino’s please. One vanilla,” he said to the elderly lady eager to serve. Saige was glad he was having a coffee. “And one hazelnut“. He knew what she liked. They sat in awkward silence for a moment. Saige was having a problem with eye with contact so she sort of stared off. She could smell how fresh he was. His fragrance, a more masculine note. She was not aware how much Clay was aware of her moods and actions. He seemed truly in love with her. He knew what to expect of her before she did. She was starting to feel anxious in the silence, and then he ran his thumb on the back of one hand.
