About the Book

The adventures of Mary Ellen is an introduction to a planned series of books linking the home and care center environments. My goal is to allow parents and children to get to know Mary Ellen books while drawing parallels with their own lives. I know from experience that children love to see themselves in book characters and are always ready to add their own comments and experiences. Primary care givers can learn a lot from this input and can often help a child through a difficult time as well as enjoy good experiences by simply listening. I am contriving to provide these learning opportunities throughout the M.E. series.

About the Author

I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for most of my adult life and,along with my husband, have raised three children. My greatest joy, wheather at work or at home has been reading to and with children. I am presently fulfilling a dream of living on the shores of Lake Huron.
