Steve came out of the woods and started running through the field. He stepped in a small hole and fell down. Bobby came through the field and tripped over Steve. They both looked back and saw two wolves walking towards them from the woods. They both started screaming again. They got up and stared running again.
Steve hit the door first. Karen and Michael came running out when they heard him
Screaming, and crying. Just as Karen was going to ask were Bobby was, Bobby came running around the corner.
Karen stood in horror because of the way the boys came home. Michael came around and asks Karen what was wrong with the boys.
Steve was in such terror that he didn’t hear his Father’s question. He was white with fear. His eyes were wide and his lips were shaking, it looked as though he was freezing.
“What is going on?” Karen started asking questions first.
Bobby was in a babbling state as he replied.
“Father Freedmen is dead in the woods. He’s on top of the rock on the other side of the woods. He is covered in blood.”
“What are you talking about Bobby? “ Michael said.
“Father Freedmen’s car is in the middle of the road with the hood up. We went to look but he wasn’t there. So we went looking for him.”
Karen brought the boys in the house and called the doctor while Michael went into the stables and called the County Sheriffs Office.
After he hung up the phone he got in the car and drove down Oak Road. Karen stood watching the car disappear as he drove off.
When Michael got to the middle of the woods he saw the Fathers car. It was in the middle of the road with the hood up just like the boys said. He drove around the car looking at it as he drove passed it.
“What the hell is going on? He said out loud. He drove a little more and saw the rock with Father Freedmen on it. He wanted to drive away but didn’t.
He stopped the car and got out looking at Father Freedmen. Sheriff Patterson pulled behind Michael’s car. Michael turned around fast; the sound of the car scared him. The Sheriff got out of his car and yelled at Michael.
“What’s going on out here Michael?”
“Jim the boys came home screaming, then told me that something happened to Father Freedmen.”
They walked towards each other and met in the middle of the road. They walked together to Father Freedmen.
“Jim, he was at are house last night. What the hell happened out here?”
“I don’t know Michael. There is a lot going on here in this part of town.”
“This is crazy Jim.”
“I know.”
“Who would kill Father Freedmen?”
“Some sick ass! That’s who! You better keep the boys at home for a while Michael. Well at least tell we find out who did this. It’s too dangerous to let them leave the yard right now.”
