The honeymoon was an extraordinary night. Nya wished it could have last forever. It was her first love making experience. An encounter filled with pleasure, passion, and romance. She lay captivated the morning after fulfilled and free of guilt. She wasn’t a virgin. Her initial plan was a popular one, to preserve her virginity through oral sex. After a few years it failed. Oral sex served as an appetizer for Shaun. It was degrading as well as desensitizing for Nya. Instead of preserving her virginity it made the process easier. In actuality it was the beginning of a compromising cycle. One many of her friends could identify with. Like Nya, many of her female friends didn’t like or really understand sex. It was an expected routine, a topic for conversation. However you didn’t talk about how painful or cold it could be. You didn’t talk about the fear of getting caught or STD’s. You didn’t talk about the shame of compromising places, no one mentioned facts. Facts expose ignorance and poor choices. You didn’t talk about how it really made you feel. Instead any negative was replaced with fantasy, hype and secret hopes of a better experience next time. After a while it was difficult to discern facts and fantasy. Before tonight Shaun had been her fantasy. She recalled falsifying stories about him. In reality he was egotistic, inconsiderate and inexperienced. Sex with him was anything but pleasurable. He was obsessed with an imaginary mirror watching as he flex, and admiring his profile as he change positions. Maybe it would have been better if he’d observed her. Lifting dead weight from her occasional naps had to be a chore for him. If it weren’t for his repulsive sweating, loud growling, and weird seizure like activity she would have slept through it all. If it weren’t for her fantasy maybe she could have seen the reality of a bad situation. Such a waste Nya thought. If she’d known then what she knows now she would have waited. No need to dwell on that and no need for fantasies. Last night was real! Michael was caring, passionate, sensitive, and patient. Last night she experienced the difference between making love and having sex! And what a pleasurable experience it was!!!

About the Author
At present and to say the least Mrs. Harris is a mother,inspirational poet, speaker, author, and host. I say at present and to say the least because she's anointed to encourage. She's gifted,passionate and determined. Her personalized inspirational pieces have uplifted many for years. Teen motherhood was one of many motivators that sparked Harris's unique ministry. A ministry where women are primary focus but encouragement an over all goal. She accepts little credit for her amazing work. She gives all honor and glory to God. She published her first book in 2008 'Inspirational Verses'. This humble but anointed book of inspirational poems is still touching lives! Like most of her work it is self published, thought provoking and relatable. It consist of the poem 'A Mother's Inconceivable Love' . This moving piece was Mrs Harris first published poem. It was written as a tribute to her late mother. It's purpose, like most of her work ,is to give God glory and promote strength through life changes and difficulties. Her work is not limited to personal experiences but others experiences as well. This is one of many reasons for the need and effectiveness of such a ministry. She is also known as Lady La Rouge. Founder and host of Inspiration De La Rouge. Lady derived from her belief that every women should be respected and act as a lady. La from her hometown of Louisiana. Rouge from her favorite color (red) and a reminder, of her belief ,in the power of the blood of Jesus. Inspiration De La Rouge is french for inspiration by Lady La Rouge. This is a night of inspiration like no other! These nights are centered around (God's) Kingdom R&R! An assortment of praises go forth , uninhibited praises, free from excessive boundaries of religion. Need less to say an uninhibited anointing is released and uninhibited blessings come down! It's impossible to tell all about this young, resilient ,southern ,inspirational author. So I'll leave you with her words 'I am not perfect that's not an excuse just truth! Everything I've overcome or accomplished or will overcome and accomplish is by the mercy, grace,guidance and strength of God! Without him I am nothing but because of him all things are possible! As I continue on this journey I will continue to proclaim his glory ! I will continue to share real experiences with all that choose to hear. Not just because I want to but because I've been called to.
