Do you think you worry a lot? You haven’t met Jimmy Jerkface. (Yes, his last name is Jerkface – believe it or not.) He just moved and is starting a new school. Jimmy is worried that people will make fun of his name and not want to be his friend. But when he gets to school, Jimmy’s name is not the problem. It will take a good friend and a lot of courage to convince others that being different is not a bad thing. Will Jimmy be able to stand up for what he believes in? Or will he be an outcast forever?

About the Author

Laurie Fogleman was only ten years old when she wrote this book. She is currently eleven years old and lives with her family in North Carolina. She has always loved to write and has been writing stories, poems, and songs since she was five years old. Laurie simply sat down, one day, and started typing "Jimmy, What Are You Eating?!" About nine months later, she had written an entire book! She didn't think it would be possible to get a book published at just eleven years old! Laurie wants to continue writing and become a famous author, someday. She believes that if you keep trying and never give up, your dreams will come true!
