About the Author

Jean-Maurice Belekwa, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, is currently living in Denver, Colorado, and is the founding partner of "We Are the Children of Congo Organization." WACOCO is a US nonprofit organization designed to bring educational support and financial assistance to the children of DRC. This organization specifically targets those children who have the greatest potential to continue with their education yet are socially underprivileged or orphaned due to the AIDS epidemic, disease, or the civil war. A sizable portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be directed to the foundation.
