Whisper in the sky I heard the whisper in the sky I felt the winds as it blew by Caught a glimpse of the sun On bending knee at the break of dawn Looking at the rain many drops that fell Anticipating in the moment of something so swell Then came the moon so bright and clear The whisper in the sky seemed oh so near I reached up and spreaded my hands wide Only to feel your presence inside I grabbed on and held so tight I closed my eyes to make it right I felt a tear and started to cry My comfort came from the whisper in the sky

About the Book
Every day is a clash with the consistent trials and attainments of life. Our minds are conquered with afflictive challenges and the many frustrations that we must face. Life can be very perplexed. “Spiritual Victory” was written to inspire and encourage the reader giving strength to overcome the obstacles of daily life. These poems will enlighten the mind and energize the spirit.
About the Author
Gloria Jackson’ Lewis, I was born in Wilmot, A R to Rita Jackson and Andrew Lewis. I have five brothers and two sisters. I have been blessed with a beautiful family. Chris, Kristal, Dominique, Gloria, LeDevan and a beautiful granddaughter Nevaeh. I accepted Christ at an early age at Sweet Home MBC in Wilmot, AR. I am currently a member of the Risen Son MBC of Alexander, AR under the leadership of Pastor Carl McCree. Through my parent’s trials and persistent struggles I was inspired to write poetry. My intent is to motivate the reader by empowering them through poetry to endure any adversities that may flourish.
