About the Author

Jewels Rogers was nineteen years old when she was hit by a drunk driver. She was in a coma for four months, and when she woke up, she was a quadriplegic with a traumatic brain injury. The parts of her brain that control body movement and speech were the most severely damaged. She will always require total care and supervision for the rest of her life. She is a Christian in a wheelchair with unshakable faith who enjoys being a Mormon. She thanks God every day for saving her life and for giving it a new direction. She loves being an author. She is always happy and an inspiration to all who have come to know her. She plans to keep writing many more books for children.
