About the Author

I am a Dental Hygienist. Inevitably I see children who get loose teeth. Children are both excited and scared of loosing their teeth. This book is a way to make it a fun process and use their imaginations at the same time. My cousins Terry, the illustrator of the book, and I, grew up in a small town in Wyoming. We spent more time outside than we did inside. We rode horses, invented games and characters. There was no Internet or computers back then and very few TV stations. Our growing imaginations soared. Terry’s imagination came in the form of Art, mine in words. I now live in Colorado. Being a Dental Hygienist I could not put this idea away about kids imagining their tooth fairy, the process of gathering teeth, and what they do with them. This has been just plain fun!
